GERRY WEBER assists school-leavers and graduates in choosing their careers through its regular presence at the regional job fairs in Bielefeld, Osnabrück and Gütersloh and at industry-specific events such as the “MG zieht an“ re­cruit­ing ex­hib­i­tions at Hoch­schule Nieder­rhein in Mönchenglad­bach and its par­ti­cip­a­tion in the annual Girls & Boys Day.

Career Day at GERRY WEBER

What train­ee­ships/ap­pren­tice­ships does GERRY WEBER offer? How are sewing patterns made? How are samples produced? These and other questions are answered at the Career Day of GERRY WEBER In­ter­na­tion­al GmbH. The in­ter­na­tion­al fashion and lifestyle company puts on these events to provide young people with a hands-on im­pres­sion of entry options, ap­pren­tice­ships and career paths available in the company.

Every year, the GERRY WEBER Group offers about 15 to 20 young people an ap­pren­tice­ship as business manager, retail sales­per­son, event manager, IT manager or apparel tailor.

At the Career Day, former ap­pren­tices speak about the ex­per­i­ence gained at the company headquar­ters or during stints abroad in the context of the “Azubi In­ter­na­tion­al“ programme. Dual students provide in­form­a­tion on the contents they learn at the company and during their studies Trainees present the different stages of the trainee pro­grammes. The Open Day was already held twice at the headquar­ters of GERRY WEBER In­ter­na­tion­al GmbH in Halle/West­phalia.
