Welcome

at GERRY WEBER
International AG

Dear partners and customers,

The past few weeks have been tough: just less than two months after the end of our insolvency proceedings under self-administration, there was a surprising change in the executive board at GERRY WEBER. Only two weeks later, all the issues that had been discussed before are now rendered less important as the world faces the unprecedented coronavirus epidemic. In order to overcome this crisis, we must band together more than ever before, both at GERRY WEBER and in society as a whole, and join all available resources to minimize the impact of the coronavirus on our health and our company.

To deal with the daily changing issues as best as possible, we have set up a coronavirus task force, whose members are now contributing their expertise and experience to maintain all vital structures during this crisis and to be available as contact persons.

Despite all our coming closer together to cope with the current situation, we have to keep our distance physically: the part of our workforce able to work remotely is now in home offices. All employees who have to be on site are trying to keep the minimum distances recommended. In our stores and those of our partners, we face the situation that they will be closed for two weeks for the time being throughout Germany. For all these problems we have to find solutions together in a flexible and unbureaucratic way – both internally and for our customers and partners.

This is where the collective strength and creativity of all people at GERRY WEBER is needed, and we believe in that. We trust in you and that together we will lead GERRY WEBER through this crisis. Thanks to the restructuring during recent months, our company is lean and flexible. And: We all know what it means to adapt quickly to new circumstances. We remain confident that we can successfully maintain this path together with you and continue to firmly believe in GERRY WEBER, the brand and the people.

Sincerely,
Alexander Gedat and Florian Frank
