Halle/Westphalia, 26.09.2023 – Change in the Management Board of GERRY WEBER International AG. Today, the Supervisory Board decided on the reorganisation of the Managing Board for the realignment of the company and the further implementation of the restructuring plan and reached a mutual agreement with Angelika Schindler-Obenhaus, CEO and Chairwoman of the Executive Board, that she will terminate her activities prematurely on 30 September 2023. This was preceded by talks in which agreement was reached between Angelika Schindler-Obenhaus, the Supervisory Board and the shareholders not to conclude a new contract in the course of the planned conversion of the company into a GmbH. This was preceded by talks in which Angelika Schindler-Obenhaus, the Supervisory Board and the shareholders agreed not to conclude a new contract in the course of the planned transformation of the company into a limited liability company. Dirk Reichert, who has been with the company in the role of advisory CRO since April 2023, will be appointed as a full member of the Managing Board as of 1 October 2023. In this position, he will initially take over all areas of responsibility from Angelika Schindler-Obenhaus.

Angelika Schindler-Obenhaus was appointed COO on the Management Board of GERRY WEBER International AG in August 2020 and CEO and Chairman of the Management Board eight months later.
