GERRY WEBER as a Great Place to Work® certified.

January 26, 2023

Halle/Westphalia, 25.01.2023 The GERRY-WEBER Group has been certified as an "Attractive Employer in Germany" by Great Place to Work®.

The award is given to companies that offer their employees a particularly good corporate culture and attractive working conditions.

"The award confirms the high level of identification of our employees with our company and the pronounced team spirit," says a delighted Dirk Wefing, Director Human Resources. "At the same time, it stands for credible corporate management and a trusting, appreciative and fair way of dealing with each other.", adds CFO Florian Frank.

The assessment was based on a detailed anonymous survey of GERRY WEBER employees on key workplace issues such as trust in managers, quality of cooperation, appreciation, identification with the company, career development opportunities, remuneration, health promotion and work-life balance. In addition, the company had to pass the "Culture Brief". Here, various measures and programmes of human resources work in the company were analysed.

Angelika Schindler-Obenhaus, Chairman of the Managing Board and CEO, sees the award above all as confirmation of the unique corporate culture at GERRY WEBER: "Each and every one of our employees makes a valuable contribution to the company. Only together can we be successful. We want them to feel comfortable with us and to be able to develop optimally here. We are very pleased with the good ratings. It becomes clear here that WE ARE GERRY is much more than a slogan. WE ARE GERRY is the expression of a very strong feeling of togetherness and pride. This is really very special and I am very grateful for it."

GERRY WEBER has recently paid close attention to the needs and wishes of its employees and implemented a variety of measures to improve the employee experience. Recently, the already very flexible working time model was expanded to include additional options, such as the 4-day week.

"We will of course continue to do so," confirms Dirk Wefing. "The employee survey has provided us with many valuable indications in which areas we can still improve. That spurs us on!"
